Personalized mRNA Vaccine
October 2026 | Personalized Cancer Vaccine Initiative 🧬
Funding Goal: $200,000 per cohort | Up to 20 children
Typical individualized therapy cost: Approximately $190,000 per child.
Estimated Development Timeline: Approximately 12 weeks following full cohort funding and target selections.
This initiative aims to expand access to investigational therapeutic mRNA cancer vaccines designed to stimulate the immune system to recognize and attack cancer cells.
Through an off-the-shelf, shared-antigen approach, each cancer-specific cohort will focus on identifying tumor-associated antigens shared among multiple patients.
By selecting common molecular targets, a single vaccine formulation could potentially serve up to 20 eligible children within a cohort, rather than requiring a separately manufactured vaccine for each patient.
At XIT, we accelerate access to innovative therapies for children with cancer, working to eliminate financial barriers and make treatment available to eligible patients at no cost to their families.
This is a proposed investigational initiative. Patient eligibility, vaccine development, and clinical access will depend on molecular profiling, regulatory authorization, and treating-physician oversight. The estimated 12-week timeline does not guarantee when treatment can begin.
