Project X-IT
The current pharmaceutical model fails our children with rare diseases and cures for rare childhood diseases often go undeveloped.
XIT Foundation is working to establish a philanthropically funded research laboratory in Texas. The lab is being designed for one purpose: to help bridge scientific breakthrough and patient access.
The science is advancing. The technology is here. The XIT lab is designed to empower scientists, researchers, and engineers to apply individualized nucleic-acid engineering to pediatric cancer — and to make the results of that work available in the public interest.
Our goal is to help discover and develop curative therapies pro bono, bypassing the profit barriers, so that breakthroughs can reach the children who need them — at no cost to their families.
