XIT supports one kind of science — curative approaches for childhood cancer. We hold ourselves to a single filter: we fund work aimed at curing the disease, not slowing it. That focus draws us to the frontier of genetic medicine — gene editing, CRISPR, and nucleic-acid therapies designed to correct cancer at its source.
Our goal is to advance this work both by backing researchers already pursuing it and by building our own philanthropically funded lab dedicated to curative science for children.
